But really when Sony sued all the hackers and made them pay for what they did a stupid group wants to get mad. In reality people who use a product for the unintended use of the product for illegal or misuse of the product should be punished in some degree or measure, thats just the way it works. But since a bunch of nerds are raging over something they shouldn't even be involved in is JUST RETARDED. I think what sony did was completely right. I think I'm gunna have to agree with this thread. At the end of the day Sony are just trying to protect there own software, put it this way, if you were to be a creator of a highly used gaming console, you would be pretty pissed if some guy shared to the world how to hack into the console and people started piratin games.

Although I definatly disagree with the actions Sony have taken against geohot and also not to mention how they have compromised the privacy of the geohot supporters. It all seems a bit childish to me.

Edit: Guys you are getting confused with the fact that yes it's your product you can do as you wish with it, but you do not own PSN, and when you start messing with the software and interfering with online play, that's when you start to go against the terms of service.
