Today (5/5/2011) they have posted another article regarding this issue, without saying if it will be on, on Friday or this "weekend" specifically. So expect it for the next week. The following quote shows that they still need a few more days to restore the PlayStation network.

"In the coming days, we will restore service to the networks and welcome you back to the fun. I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are committed to serving you to the very best of our ability, protecting your information better than ever, and getting you back to what you signed up for – all the games and great entertainment experiences that you expect from Sony."

But oh well, I think it is better to wait, until everything is completed rather than PSN going to maintenance after a week, or having our information stolen again, or have some failures, or hackers hacking PSN again. So think about all this things first before you say "**** Sony" or "I just want PSN back I don't care about security shitz!"

Guys stop bi*ching, It takes time to rebuild a server and fix all the vulnerabilities. It probably took years to fully make PSN, so to fix it only taking 3 weeks is pretty dam fast. So stop acting like a bunch of inept 4 year olds. and do what you did before PS3s or Xbox360s came out.
