Today (5/5/2011) they have posted another article regarding this issue, without saying if it will be on, on Friday or this "weekend" specifically. So expect it for the next week. The following quote shows that they still need a few more days to restore the PlayStation network.

"In the coming days, we will restore service to the networks and welcome you back to the fun. I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are committed to serving you to the very best of our ability, protecting your information better than ever, and getting you back to what you signed up for – all the games and great entertainment experiences that you expect from Sony."

But oh well, I think it is better to wait, until everything is completed rather than PSN going to maintenance after a week, or having our information stolen again, or have some failures, or hackers hacking PSN again. So think about all this things first before you say "**** Sony" or "I just want PSN back I don't care about security shitz!"

It is planned that today the Online Game will be available. If not it will be on Sunday. Anyways, they are testing the PSN now, the update period is over.

It never fails to see people complaining about the network being down yes i did just get my astros and it made me a little mad but come on your'e all on a computer download a game like minecraft to keep you busy cmon guys.
