How To Set Up xLink KAI
1. Download and Install xLink Kai Ver. 7.3.1.7 from the link provided with in the video description
2. Now on your computer click START > ALL PROGRAMS > XLINK KAI and RIGHT CLICK on any one of these CONFIGURE KAI OR START KAI OR START USER INTERFACE and click on PROPERTIES.
3. Go COMPATIBILITY > COMPATIBILITY MODE and make sure you pick the one in brackets (SERVICE PACK ?) ALSO MAKE SURE IT RUNS AS AN ADMINISTRATOR.
4. Now go back to START > ALL PROGRAMS > XLINK KAI then click on CONFIGURE KAI
5. Go over NETWORK ADAPTER and have "Autodetect and lock" selected then have a tick ON on "AUTO OPEN CHAT" then enter your details so u dont have to re-enter it every time finally click ok to close the window.
6. Now you can go ahead and start your xLink Kai via START button on your computer
How To Use XLINK KAI
7. Top left corner select SWITCH TO DIAOGNOSTICS MODE then switch your PS3 ON
8. Once your ps3 is on go ahead and click on SWITCH TO DIAOGNOSTICS VIEW on top left corner now you should see a blue bar with some codes written in it, that means you are connected to xLink Kai.
9. Again go to top left corner click on SWITCH TO ARENA MODE then choose your platform PS3 then First Person Shooter and choose a game to play (once your in the arena u can make your own arena or u may join other arena's).
10. To join other arena's, u must join in lan party
11. To create your own arena and let others join, u must create a game.
Enjoy and have Fun untill PSN is back

My ps3 mac address shows red? how do i solve this?

I'm really Winning!
Ok Ive been using xlink for a while, follow the tutorial but 1 thing i might add, PS3 and computer must both be wired to the same network! and also use version 7.3.1.7, not the new vesrion.

So you wire your laptop to a modem using an ethernet cable and wire your ps3 to the same modem using a different ethernet cable? I thought the program had to be run in between the two, i.e modem to laptop, laptop to PS3. Except I have no idea how to connect my PS3 to my laptop without an ethernet cable.

i follow the tutorial,but when i press the folder that are down o the magnifiger glass my PS3 numbers or ID or MAC adress is red ! what i have to make !
