Well basically a lot of the time, you can change the FW of factory PS3's (brand new), usually when they come out of the factory, the are on FW 0 and it usually asks you to update to the latest firmware, with these you can update to whatever firmware you want! The most popular as I say is 3.41, jailbreak is available on this firmware, so I recommend this firmware enjoy! (P.S. once updated to a firmware you CANNOT downgrade)

You may not have heard of all of these firmwares, because some are not as popular as others, but if you're going to update to a good firmware, I recommend 3.41 because it's ready for jailbreak

you know even brand new ps3's you buy in the stores don't have fw's as low as 0?
Most likely they are around 3.41 or even higher.

Just what i was looking for! just fixed a 3.50 ylod 60gb and have my 3.55 40gb gonna update the 40 and leave the 60
