Bootloader has been dumped from a nand successfully. Nor is going to be dumped next. Rootkey, you’re now in our grasp.

CFW we will not release for 3.56+ unless the PS3MFW team finds a way to do that again . an exploit for other developers to work

Rootkey = per console key. You would need to dump your own key in order to decrypt your bootloader and metldr as far as i know.

In layman terms, we are one step closer to a ‘hacked’ PS3 consoles on newer firmwares. Although they don’t plan on making an actual firmware, finding the exploit is the toughest step…its all a cake walk from there. If downgrading isn’t your style (or you own a slim), have patience, things are looking pretty good.

Actually in laymans terms this means the same thing we have been being told for some time now and unless they release an application to grab our own rootkey we are screwed and as they said they aren't making cfw which is how we would receive it. So unless like me you already soldered your own chip to an extflash this means nothing for us. Also the keys lv0 are known to some as well as lv0.2 which btw we need those also lv0 is important but alone doesn't mean much. Again all gitbrew is doing is taking action to everything that malieuth has told us. Not a big deal really unless they plan on releasing the cfw or an application in which to dump our own rootkey unless of course you already got the rig and the money to do your own dump then by all means release it Smile.

3.56+ cfw is useless, all we need is someone to find out the 3.60 psn auth passphrase so that we can reroute the way the ps3 connects to psn by making it check for files on our computer and boom 3.55 has psn again. all we are missing is the 3.60 passphrase, the old one is saktdlMapxsbsghmq5dhlwrmtsicyijmzntqaLcpgd8ybbetdm sha=jm
