(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So guys how many YLOD's have you experienced in total? That means not on 1 ps3 but on all of them together if you have owned more than 1 PS3.
Heres my stats.

TOTAL: 11 YLOD's
60GB: 7-8 YLOD's

Been owning ps3 for 4 or 5 years now :P

Share your stats here! Shoot.

I've owned 2 80gb Fats (one for 3 years) and 1 250gb slim. Never had a problem with overheating either.

2 Ps3s. 1 40Gb got Ylod and a 320 GB slim with no ylod.

But I fixed my ylod using ps3 ylod oven fix method.

Good idea. Had my 2nd Gen 40GB PS3 for 2 years now, no problems what so ever so far. Over heated once first year, but gets about 100 degrees here in New York, so it was expected.

Personally, I've only ever had 4 PS3's all together, 1 40GB, 1 60GB, 1 80GB all fat and the one I currently have now is 160GB Slim.
None of them have ever had YLOD but all of them have had Blue Ray Disc Drive failure and broken over time. (not reading discs.)
