Don't get excited just yet, this does not mean full dual boot capabilities, in fact there seams to be no changes at all except the seclusion of the 11 parts the limited version came with. yea apparently you have to have a dongle according to their instructions (5: Plug the downgrade dog into the USB port nearest to the CD-ROM drive. Enter the factory mode following the standard downgrade procedure (quickly press the eject button after pressing power button). PS3 will automatically switch off after a while.) so you can put it in service mode. Also you have to have a TransFlash card. i would but i already did everything up to the dongle part and you can only use it on one ps3 apparently too.


i got it right before they put the instructions up a while back, you would think they would tell you that you need a dongle before you buy it

but yea unless you can get to factory service mode without a dongle, then youll need a dongle

ok so here is what im gonna do. im gonna buy an e3 card reader, then if all goes well i will provide a simple to read tutorial since i havent seen one on here yet. and no it wont be how to install it. it will be for the use of the E3 flasher with the E3 card reader, then if i can figure out how i will post a video tutorial also

where did you find the 52$ e3 nor flasher

yea i cant figure out how to connect a HDD since it came with no esata station

Hmm, i guess i'll have to use the progskeet then xD

i connected the E3 nor flasher to ps3, but as this comes with no Esata station what do i do with my harddrive? can i still downgrade without the esata, it said on the e3 site they werent selling limited anymore.
