(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Today e3tech.net has announced the discontinuation of there E3 Flasher Limited and the start of the E3 NOR Flasher. Don't get excited just yet, this does not mean full dual boot capabilities, in fact there seams to be no changes at all except the seclusion of the 11 parts the limited version came with. News release below.

This allows 4.0 to be downgraded to 3.55?

Sure does, and I can CONFIRM it. Mine is working flawlessly with 4.00 to 3.55 "semi-manual dual boot" with a 120GHDD and and old 80GB HDD from my YLOD console.

Love this thing!

*note you ALSO need to own/ or purchase a JAILBREAK DONGLE: Like psOne / E3 card reader / or any other type of ps3 jailbreak dongle.

I use the E3 card reader. As I got one for 9.95$ + 8$ shipping: And it works as a Card reader for micro sd cards and as a ps3 jailbreak dongle with the HEX

I have a slim PS3 the model is SERIAL: CG181750336-CECH-2001A Could this be downgraded by the flasher? I used the TI-84 exploit to jailbreak would this also be needed or would I need to purchase a Dongle? If you could answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Happy

Save Point
So, like a complete n00b, I didn't install the 4.00 spoofer to prevent accidental updating (lived alone until recently), and one of my roommates friends came over and updated my PS3 to 3.66 after playing Warhammer 40k Space Maries. :FU::FU::FU:

So obviously, I need to get this E3 flasher, already watched a very detailed tutorial on what to do, seems pretty straight forward. One thing I am curious about, if I update to 3.73, downgrade back to 3.55, will all my backups and homebrew still be available on the PS3? I ask because I had 1000+ NES games all with game covers in Multiman, spent about 6+ hours setting that up. The PS3 backups I could care less for, but overall, this is the worst jailbreaking disaster I have experienced since I got my iPod Touch stuck in a boot loop with no SSH for 8 months.

Also, if I understand correctly, if I use this flasher, the only way it will work is if I use a jailbreak dongle, is that correct? If so, I almost want to just say screw it and wait for 4.00 JB, and the subsequent BDEMU support to follow. I hate the fact that I have to shell out $80 already just to fix it in the first place, then pay ANOTHER $50 for a USB manufactured by greedy developers, rather than donate $50 to a homebrew dev that releases the software for free. Y U NO BELIEVE IN SCENE? :yuno:
