(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I feel that the games coming out these days have no real meaning except for the franchise games. I like to play and go for platinums and most games that comes out by sony are not platinum based and I feel they are a waste of time.

All games should have a platinum no matter how the skill, difficulty or genre it is.

I agree i miss the old games like mario and sonic idk why they dont make any fun games like they used to 90% of games now days is geeky games like dragons and witches and shit lol but my point is theres so many ps3 and xbox360 games out there and the only games i can find fun is call of duty,minecraft,little big planet and a few racing games other then that if im not playing one of those games my ps3 is collecting dust. I wish i could get a system were you can play mario games without all that gay ass movement shit.... wii sucks ass!

Im in the same boat, I like to play for the platinums but recently the games that I have platted were very dissatisfying to get because they mainly lacked the fun that games such as Red Dead, Skyrim and these other big name games can offer, along with the challenges. I think it's just a case of a dry spell in the games market, which is usually the case this time of the year.

PS+ is seeing me through these few month until the release of games like Assassins creed 3 which can offer that entertainment and replay value and not just for the sole purpose of grinding through for the platinum. But I would advise getting PS+ since they are releasing at least 3 full retail games a month and you'll actually be surprised how much fun some games can be and the fact that you've never heard of them before.

I'm not a silent hill fan I just want a good game like I found out a few days ago that MGS4 is finally going to have trophies next month and that is one game that I'll replay to get my thrill and glory

Max Panye is franchise, so is Ghosr Recon. Dead Island is from the same people that made Dead Nation so you're wrong and it has nothing to do with trophies just and believe

The only interest you have in games are trophies, so no you are not a hardcore gamer. An "uber" gamer will play a game for the game, not to be able to show off to others how they did.

As for the franchises, those aren't huge current franchises, and they actually are incredibly solid high rated games. The fact you won't play it just because its a part of a franchise shows lack of willing to try out games.

I think repetition of the same things plays a role unto why we get bored so quickly.
