Wonder what the outcome will be then. I think Ps3 will still be around but a new console will arise somewhere.

Slim PS3 don't have a cooling issues, Justs have to take care of it and make sure to vacum it one every month or so...

I think that the PS3 is good enough to last until 2015 They made the PS3 good enough so they didn't have to continue following the 6 year cycle that they have been doing for releasing the new consoles

O mine has lasted me for about 2 and a half years. The issue is that it just remains hotter during use than my old fat one because its fans aren't as powerful. I have a cooling pad for it to help.

well considering the only reason microsoft would get rid of their current cpu on the 360 is programing limits 360 cpu is a little less more technical then the ps3s almost same thing tbh both are great for integrating with the gpu so to say microsoft is having cpu issues is hard to confirm unless they state it ,i say this as most cell tech is already been done so it wouldnt be hard for ibm and microsoft to fix some bugs unless the architecture is screwed

Economy not good enough for a new console right now. Sony however need a new console something to lead the company forward.

Sony cant really improve on the PS3 because there nothing else they can put into except more hhd space and better cooling systems
