1. Create new account.
2. Set region to Japan.
3. Activate PS4 as primary system.
4. Start up any game that requires online (such as gta 5, Call Of Duty, fifa 15, etc.)
5. Hit multiplayer of the game and it should go to the PS Plus screen with your membership activated.
6. Enjoy!

Not everyone can afford to pay $49.99 a year. Although it seems like a small amount, it is not for some people. Some people are not old enough to work and their parents won't let them use their credit card, so they have to resort to these methods.

You can get online and play with friends. In my opinion, this PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live is stupid. You already pay for the console, why pay monthly or yearly to play with friends? This shouldn't even exist...
