that is why i'm waiting for save wizard to make these saves more easier, not worth it atm to loose a controller over it.

For some reason. You don't got the unlimited pistol on that savegame.
try using one of the other System Saves provided here (with the infinite ammo unlocked) along with it and you should have it on the item box
