For some reason. You don't got the unlimited pistol on that savegame.
try using one of the other System Saves provided here (with the infinite ammo unlocked) along with it and you should have it on the item box
If you manage to get an S rank, please upload both the system data save (SAVESERVICE-LINE-0--1, SAVESERVICE-LINE-0--1.bin) and the save prior to the final boss. I will try and merge it into one save does all for trophys etc.

For some reason. You don't got the unlimited pistol on that savegame.
try using one of the other System Saves provided here (with the infinite ammo unlocked) along with it and you should have it on the item box

Haha BenderUK I was just about to boast that I just beat hardcore mode with an S rank but you beat me to it good job, unfortunately I also couldn't save near the final boss for Leon as I used up my ink ribbons by saving at crucial milestones.
I am currently trying to get the infinite rocket launcher then Ill try infinite minigun by getting an S+ rank for hardcore.
So so far we have infinite knife, infinite handgun, infinite SMG.
For anyone trying this speedrun some tips:
1) ignore the diamond key (leon) and sewer key as they are just time wasters,
2) at the detonator stage run through the door wait for the explosion then return, the bookcase wont fall over allowing you to grab the medal spawn the licker and run straight through the door
3) also at the jail pull the switch open the left door and run through the cell to bypass Mr X
4) the knife (best if you have the special knife) gives best damage output against bosses

Yep S+ rank is no bonus weapons, maximum 3 saves and less than 2 hours 30, i did hardcore S rank with no bonus weapons and in 2 hours 10 minutes, it was the saves I messed up on. If you have any idea where the 3 saves should be that would help a lot.
Anyway back to my S+ rank attempts. Currently at parking garage at 20 minutes, glad pausing doesn't add time :-), if I unlock S+ ill share final boss save and systemdata save. Wish SW would add a gametime and saves at 0 cheat ;-)

is possibile insert the collectables saves? i get 14/15 mister raccoon i see the videoguide on youtube but i think is bug for me because i shoot all mister raccoon...

I found something weird unless I don't understand it. If you die on hardcore and choose Load Game it behaves as if you used Continue on standard and doesn't "reset" the time if you know what I mean. I started just pressing quit and load from starting screen just to be sure.

Yes that is a given as it based on in game time, anything from the You Are Dead menu counts towards the time. Always quit and load :-)
The only in game process you can do to not add time is pause. Staying on the continue screen resets the time but that time is then added to a current playthrough if continue or load game is picked.
