I got the PS3 on launch day (sadly lost its battle with YLoD 5 years later) which stung me £425 so if the PS4 is really going to be cheaper than the PS3 launch then hell, why not! Hopefully it's not a bloody weekday release... I'm looking at YOU Call of Duty!! >=(

yeh i'll get it on release, but will most likely have to preorder from the states if they get it months early again....

At Playstation meeting, they mentioned that PS4 will be able to run PS/ PS2/ PS3 games at a later date. Hope the at least have ps3 games able to run upon release.

As long as it's not $2000 i'm sure it'll be a day 1 buy.
