I personally really hope so, the amount of account that people have used and then left accounts to go inactive is crazy, have you tried making a account for one of your friends? Its takes 20 minutes to even get a half decent name ( or a name choosen after your friend has become inpatient of trying), unless you want loads of numbers or extra characters before/after your chosen ID .

They'll probably include the option to change your name, but will charge you like Xbox. I see this as fair and a great addition. I'd also like to see Cross game chat. They have the specs to do so.

well the playstation vita has cross game chat so I can't imagine them leaving it out.

I wouldn't see why the wouldn't add such a feature. It's not like they wouldn't make any money off of it. I guarantee millions of people would pay the fee to change their name.

I'd love to see a feature like this added. With PS4, hopefully they'll have loads of new features added for us all to enjoy.

I would like the feature to be added not for me, just because I hear a lot of people complaining about it and it is a good way Sony to make a little bit of extra money just charging 2-5 bucks for change of ID or Display Name.

When I was using my PS3, I would only wish about changing my name.

I think only Japanese accounts can change names, so I don't see why everyone else can't too? I for one would pay to change my name just like I do on the Xbox.

yes, hopefully anyways, it would only make sense, we'd lose all of our online friends other wise...



yeh ive got a few people on my list who change their names a good few times and its annoying having to re add them and delete all their accounts only to have them get fed up of their gay name and go back to another one



they use display names, but still i dont know why we dont have the option to do so aswell
