Do you think it will be implemented into the PS4?
I personally really hope so, the amount of account that people have used and then left accounts to go inactive is crazy, have you tried making a account for one of your friends? Its takes 20 minutes to even get a half decent name ( or a name choosen after your friend has become inpatient of trying), unless you want loads of numbers or extra characters before/after your chosen ID .
So Sony, Let us know...

Japanese accounts use display names not actual account name changes :p

well..for starters, even though we would probably lose our contacts; i wouldn't mind if Sony reset the names because my favorite ID was taken, even after inputting hyphens & dashes, i cant stand having numbers in it >.<
otherwise , a name change feature would be sweet without having to start over by creating a new account.

yeh from when ive had a party chat going and have gone onto a game, uncharted golden abyss to be precise, it disables the chat
