(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I'm opening this thread up for speculation, or maybe it's been already been announced, but I haven't heard anything on whether PSN and PS3 related achievements and profiles will stay together on one network. IMO, theres a few different things that could happen:

- PS3 & PS4 and achievements from both as well as profiles stay the same on one network (hopefully)
- PS3 network completely cut out of PSN
- Two different networks (with possibility of PS3 version eventually phased out)
- Someone mentioned that Sony might do a complete network sweep, and reset everybody (would hate this the most, I have a lot of shit on PSN I've worked hard for)

The following user groaned sithxnew for this awful post:

Games/purchases have already been announced as not transferable, My guess is you will be able to "link" your PS3 account to your PS4 account so gaming profiles will transfer like trophies and PSN+ but idk.

I agree with this. I think this is the best case scenario for us (the moving of your profile card)...

SONY got HAMMERED. In broad daylight. By...whoever. HELL, you guys would know who more than me...lol. Point is, we've COMPROMISED this network. You guys know it, I know it, everyone knows this. I believe they'll have a separate network for PS4, they'll give a lame excuse why, (like they did on the reason your PSN purchases won't carry over to PS4...*smGDh*), and (EVENTUALLY) the PS3 network will die out. And that's it. I mean, you didn't really expect us (hacking community) to do what we wanted to with the PSN (a closed console like PS1 or PS2 is one thing, online is another beast), with the DEBACLE of 2011 with the George Hotz fiasco, and...that would be it? They would start another console round, with us having a leg up on SONY from day one? Not so much, in my opinion. They've got to look out for their company/customer's best interests. I'm sure SONY themselves thought of passing everybody's info over to the next couple of console generations to be awesome, but...I don't think it's even close to being a viable option.

Maybe I'm talking with a degree of naiveness but...I was told Credit Card info was compromised that year, during that situation in 2011? If that's so...you're wondering if Sony's asking for seconds?

Child please...lol

Worst case scenario PSN information will be reset, names will be the same unless you want to change them, unless sony starts sweeping out strange PSN accounts and banning them from the network permanently or whatever.

But it would just be much quicker to make everyone reset their trophy count with the same name, and thats worst case scenario.

Best case scenario everything stays the same, even if they dont add the acquired trophies to the total on the PS4, having them there is still a decent treat, but imo thats almost just as bad as the worst case scenario.

PS+ will remain, that was granted by them so I believe everything else will be wipped out except trophies. Or maybe if it is a different network they might make you link it to PS3 account so those trophies and PS+ are transfered to the new SEN

I think that what you did on the ps3 should stay on the ps3 and the account and ps+ should be there

just my opinion
