> Here comes the question. Do you guys think that US, the hardcore SONY fans will be the ones to come out on top this gen? Do you recon SONY learnt their lesson? I mean, SONY will finally have the money to properly re-design PSN & add more servers. FREE is always worse than premium.
If you cannot afford to pay 5quid a month, might as well just stay out of next-gen gaming.

lololololololol sony didn't basiclly say you have to pay to be online you just have to pay to be able to acsess multiplayer area's of the game that gives them money so they can have stable server throughout the game instead of just having dedicated servers for larger one place game so it was a very good move not in my opinion but in the futer of sony.

Yes it's about time they make more money and bypass microsoft in exclusives, and yes it's the only reason microsoft also has more online servers.

Yeah, same... The production costs are far much more expensive & SONY decided to let us have their console for cheap.

Yeah Sony made a good move with PS+ being required to play multiplayer, it's a great service and the minute you buy it you get Drive Club meaning it's already paid for itself. Hopefully all the money will go towards things that will improve PSN in general.
To all the people saying they won't be able to afford it, I can barely afford simple things in live but gaming in my main past time. It's all I really have if I can afford PS+ I'm pretty damn sure you can. :p
