SONY made a good move with paid multiplayer. Do you agree?

Lets all face it, PSN was an utter failure; it was slow, unresponsive, boring (design wise), but worst of all... it was a reason why so many people owned their beloved 360's. I myself own both consoles, well, kind of. My sliblings have an XBOX with kinect & I know exactly why Microsoft won this gen, it had a reliable service which was a pleasure to use due to it's beautiful/colourful design < Not Happy or Sad

Here comes the question. Do you guys think that US, the hardcore SONY fans will be the ones to come out on top this gen? Do you recon SONY learnt their lesson? I mean, SONY will finally have the money to properly re-design PSN & add more servers. FREE is always worse than premium.

If you cannot afford to pay 5quid a month, might as well just stay out of next-gen gaming.

I agree that psn should be free we already pay 60 for a game and then dlc for each game so it gets crazy to think adding another 100 a year for psn we don't need anyway? Why do we need so much red tape to play a game? Its all marketing be!!

it helps stop most hackers as if they hack online games and sony finds out they ban that account and bam they lost 49$ so its a good move. i know this wont stop alot of the hackers in online gaming but it might stop some

Best thing on pay for online gaming is, that now are much less kids on bf4 .... i like it

Connection to PS4 still sucks, I still usually have problems with it either being over capacity with people online or it sometimes randomly gives me an error for connection issue? It seems SONY isn't prepared even when PS4 first started with US and then the connection got worse when UK finally got their hands on the system and that was making me not even turning on the system for like 3 days due to the whole connection error failed blah blah blah crap.

Playstation Plus is alright, but there def needs to be more great discounts. they've been lagging on that since I first got PS+ back when RE4 and Code X were making their debut on PSN, and when I was on it then the deals, discounts, and free games were bad the f#!K ass!
