Nah it wont take it down. They're both FPS but they're still COMPLETELY different halo fans will stick with halo.

Here is a simple answer the biggest selling FPS was Halo 3 not for long from the succes of COD 4 will make the everyone wants to buy the sequel and from the failure of WaW they want to see Treyarch suffer by breaking records with MW2. And with the collecters editions with COClassic HALO 3:ODST will be annhilated. Simpe EH?

Halo 3:ODST will not out sell XBox 360 gamers there are way more XBox 360 not because the XBOX 360 is better only cheaper. MW2 will shatter records!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should have had an option for about the same number of players. Thats what i think.
The people who play WaW dont like the Modernness of CoD4. Ive heard it said that they dont like modern shooting games. CoD 4 has 80 000 -100 000 there abouts and halo has the same number of playes. It will be close IMO

100,000? LMAO, at the moment there's 252985 people playing Halo 3 matchmaking, and keep in mind that's just how many there is in matchmaking, and there is probably about the same amount of people in Custom Games or Gorge to and the people that play in 5 hours are most likely not the same people that's playing it atm.

As for Modern Warfare 2 taking down Halo 3: ODST, it most likely is, but you should keep in mind that ODST is more like an "expansion" to Halo 3.

well, I'm from England, so when I play it in the morning, most of the people are English so there are not as many players as there is at night when the Americans are on. I don't usually play at night.
