only real risk is a voided warranty but 9/10 you probally have a good case so no real risk also just get things replaced before jailbreaking if u have extended warranty ex i gt my headphones, charger everything replased B4 i JBed incase if they decide to mess up

The only risk is you doing it wrong which could mess it up. What you should do is go to youtube that shows you step by step how to do it which is really easy

Yes but sometimes it can mess up the phone why would anyone risk damaging an Iphone that costs over £400+ ?

Because it's new (the program), and all jailbreaking takes about 5 mins

I jailbroke my iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 last night, I did it in about 10 seconds with Spirit. I was told that Apple would brick my phone so I restored it. After reading these comments I think i'll do it again. I love the themes! Happy

If you jailbrake a 3rd generation ipod touch, and it reboots, it will restore itself and you will have to re-jailbrake it
