I heard jailbreaking makes your battery life shorter. Does it? And I also heard that you have you have to update your apps manually, is that true? Please I really want to jailbreak my Ipod Touch 2G.

It might shorten the battery life if you use too many add ons, but updating apps is only if you use cracked ones, if you use legit ones you got nothing to worry about
