Thanks cause I only really use my Ipod to listen to Pandora when I'm mowing lawns. After a few hours of online listening my battery would be ok right?

I downloaded from the 3gs link you provided, I opened and connected to itunes, i hit shift and restore, but the file does not show? Confused.

U should edit your post to tell them that it doesn't work for ipod touch 3g. before they go trying this and not being able to jailbreak

DO NOT USE SPIRIT WITH ITUNES 9.2

* geohot will probably release his bootrom-based jailbreak soon, so you might want to just wait for your jailbreak.

Spirit works with any itunes!

To everybody who is going to do this, don't use the redsn0w that is posted in the thread. That version causes ibooks to run incorrectly, instead use the newer version: You must login or register to view this content.

The newer version fixes this issue
