Yea it is legal. But the new update released by Apple is to patch it.

They don't update anything in any repair :y: you're OK to send it to fix if they say they can't because is jailbreak say that you now that is legal now.

Yes it does. Jailbreaking does void your warranty. But if you restore it in iTunes they won't have any problem with it because they can't tell the difference. So if you remove the jailbreak it's going to be fine.
Plus I need to add something:
Jailbreaking is not legal in Apple's eyes. And they won't bother to help you in any way. People seem to think that it's legal because the U.S. passed a bill, but company policies are company policies.

Tiny umbrella lets you downgrade thats the whole point of the program, you also need fix recovery and back up your SHSH

YOU DONT NEED TO SEND IT TO APPLE - all you need to do is go to the apple store & say its faulty - they will give you a replacment in store within 10-20mins -
