Step by Step Guide

1. Go To Setting - General - Network - Cellular Data

2. Where it says APN put internet2.voicestream.com leave password and username blank

(if internet2.voicestream.com doesn't work try wap.voicestream.com or epc.tmobile.com)

3. Go Back to Network, and 3g is off (you can have data roaming on or off no difference)

4. Go Back to Setting Turn On Airplane Mode and Turn it Off Load up any internet based app like Weather and watch it load at no cost

will this only work with t-mobile?

well I have only tried it with t-mobile and its a t-mobile sim card ... so i doubt it will work with any other company but you are welcome to try

i got the idea after i was trying to get cellular data on my blackberry and i decided to get it on my iphone and they gave me a apn they used which i found it similar to how i use to use when i hadd my first iphone and used tzones to access free internet on a prepaid sim as well but im just happy i dont have to deal with at&t

maybe you have a asian iphone im not sure because when you get into network and cellular data it says APN so idk really
