copy the new patch open it up with hexeditor, now when the first patch was made wat they did was added 00 to split up each word, which made it so that when the ps3 would read the file it would not be able to perform the action, well we got smarter and were able to delte taht 00 and add 0a which alllows us to connect all the words again,

so this time u have to open up the old patch with hex editor and the new one, take the old one and copy all the numbers the hex side, u need to place taht under the new patch, inbetween both patches add a 0a, this connects the 2 patches

now at the end of the new patch add 00.0a.23
this is now going to make both patches overlap and trick the system into thinking that it is using the new patch

but it is not going to enable ufo mode again, there is a new hidden folder inside the save data folder, the hidden folder makes it so that the system can reconize if we change the folder, so if u edited the files at all it would no and just delete it when u start up cod4

to reach this hidden folder open up the save data folder the oen with grado_cm and the otehrs, now click search, search in all folders and wat not type in GPAD0_ now when its done searching there will be 4 GPAD0_ folders not 3 as tehre is in teh original, this is becasue there is a hidden folder

open up that extra folder and delete all teh encrypted words inside, this will allow the hack to continue to work again, so yes u can now fly around and and beat the living shit out of noobs, if u have questions just ask, and yes it was a little confusing but if u take teh time it will wrk, if u really need help adn bug the shit out of me i will send begginer instructions for noobs but i dnt want this to get spreaded, because it will end up being patched

Okay. Open your new save in hex editor...... check. But the thing is there aren't any 00 pieces of hex but there are 0a pieces of hex. I'm confused as from your instructions i thought u said that there would be 00's and that i would need to change these into 0a's. But other than that as well as the fact there isn't a hidden folder, even when "searching for hidden files" is enabled. i can do everything else, i am just bemused by the fact that there isn't a hidden folder and there aren't 00's when GPAD0_CM is opened in hex editor.

ok im back and i got it figured out

i didnt ask u to do much any of that, u open up the old save data GPAD0_cm in hex editor and the new save data GPAD0_cm in hex editor compy the hex (numbers) and paste them under the old save data hex ok

now inbetween the 2, the old and new, puta 00 this is going to connect them

How about you upload a savedata for 5 min then remove it?

now the old save data will be the one without the patch? then the new save data would be the one with the patch... so what your trying to say is. Copy the hex numbers in the new save data and paste them under the old save datas hex numbers and put 00 in between the two of them and shazaam? What about after that.

So have you an update on the "hidden" folder? I'll understand if you don't want to share how you achieved it, but did you manage to get hacks working on the new patch? Or at least stop the servers from "spraying you down"

OK,
i am currently editing my first post to wat u have to do now, i will make the steps easier for those who are lets say a little on the noob side, after 2 hours of digging to the very bottom of the GPAD0_cm file in hex editor(dnt wry u people wont have to), i am so deep into the file taht there is no way the new fix is going to be able to ifnd it, so this means it will not restore to default because it already thinks i am on default, so let me edit the post so we can get this straightend out for you all

okay so after we do this your way. we open up the gpad0_cm file regularly in notepad and use the UFO code like before and it should work right?
