But then during installation... it says "An error occurred during the install operation (8002AE22)"

i get that error too kill_bob_saget, what country are you from? the ones derizer listed are false, the UK one is actually a french one and the USA one works. If you're UK like me, you'll have to wait until the UK patch 1.2 is found.

you sure you're using the right 'replace' things? look in your log when you try to update to 1.3 and can you see when sony is connecting during the download of 1.3? use that link from the log and have it replaced with 1.2 patch, that seems logical, not sure if it works though, worth a shot

so in theory, this is like the easiest way to bypass the cod4 1.3 patch

ok a question 2 whoever knows the answer if i do this will i be able to play with patched hacks if yes this means this is the solution 2 longtime bypassing right??

so does that mean if we install this we dont g2 bypass? like we can just go on CoD4? and i remember 1.2 was the patch every1 hacked on b4 it was originally patched, so everything should work.

guys, hacks that weren't patched by 1.2 are useable, you can't use it with other 1.3 users, only fellow 1.2 users who have bypassed. So you can't just go on hardcore S& then start hacking, you need to find someone else to do it with or hope someone is looking for a cage match the same time you are.
Note: you both need to be patch 1.2! i.e (BOTH bypassed)
