This is pointless. You wont be playing online with people only people with hacks so its basically the same as bypassing the patch

I have followed the tutorial completely but I still have one problem! When my ps3 starts to download the patch, it comes up on the logs as if it is downloading from my desktop. It downloads fine and when it starts to install, it says "An error occurred during install operation" Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

You are aware that Kill_streak's video shows an UNMODDED patch, being installed. Assuming you've tried it, does it work in the same way for a modded one?

Wait so let me get this straight..

If I downgrade the patch to 1.2, I don't have to bypass right? (I know that sounds stupid lol.)

That's the theory, yes. However, whether it works or not is a different question. There's still no video proof from dezired and no else has confirmed this working, so there may still be a few issues.



The only thing I could suggest, from not having tried it myself, is to follow abz247uk's theory. His idea is, replace the 1.2 patch header with the 1.3 one in hex, save it and try it. It may also work if you rename the 1.2 patch identical to the 1.3 patch. These are only suggestions though, I wish I could help you out more
