Post: Types of Ammunition

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Theres a possible waeapons thread and a lot of suggestion threads but after the fact that there will be different kinds of ammunition being proven true I think there should be a thread about the possible ammunition types.

I think its pretty clear that there will be FMJ Bullets and the already shown "Dragon Breath" shells. But what other suggestions do you guys have.

Also do you want to be able to switch between the bullet types while playing. Imagine having two magazines with you one with a red tape around it and one with a blue tape around it and you can change between them. The red has x type bullets the blue y type of bullets.

So I'll make a list of what I want to see:
Full Metal Jacket Bullets (FMJ)
Hollow Points Bullets
Spitzer (Spire point bullets or Spitzgeschoss)
Ballistic Tip Bullets
The ability to switch to higher Cliber rounds (If the rifle is built to do so of course realism ftw)

What I don't want to see:
High-Speed Ammunition types
Soft Point Bullets
High Speed Ammunition and soft Point Bullets is sorta like ruining the game because these stuff is 1 Shot = Death.

different types of ammo would be very interesting. I hope that Black ops has a lot of customization when it comes to your guns.

I like some of the ideas. although treyarch had to pick the most unrealistic round of all. dragon breath rounds are real and all, but are primarily used on old shotguns for the fourth of july, or the such. dragon breath rounds really mess up the barrels of guns, and have terrible range, just for show really

I hope that they don't add too much shit, that was MW2's problem the added loads of stuff that sounded great on paper. But when it came to playing with it many people just misused or exploited the thng. -:

For example - Tatical insertion was meant to be used to respawn quickly behind an objective i.e domination flag. But people decided to get nukes with friends

Treyarch cant make the same mistake. They also have too be careful if adding different types of bullets. They cant lets say have Bullets unlocked at lvl 40 way better than those unlocked at lvl 9 . It has too be balanced. CoD hasnt been balaced since COD4 , Treyarch need too prove they're better than IW

Nah thats constructive criticism. I think youre right but I just think this would be more realistic. An unfair advantage would suck yes, but I trust Treyarch a lot more on that one! They can implement stuff without ruining the game and so I hope that they add something like this without making it unfair. From my point of view theres going to be a lot new stuff though.

Well you don't Know much about the stated ammunition then. Because neither do i want the Game to be unbalanced.

And I am chilled the kind of rude tone is just to bring you to state your opinion because I want constructive criticism so that this idea enhances into a discussion that may resemble the stuff Treyarch is considering. Like they know the problem of the Mp40 and I am so 100% sure they will not ever make a mistake like that again because unlike Infinity Ward they do listen to their fans ^.^

i dont like the other type of rounds in guns. they cause too much cluster and needs to counter act those guns for balence.

etc. i was playing spitscreen( this is where it is best found ) and if u put on fmj on high rate of fire weapons, it laggs the game up horrificly. this way the shooter can run kill the guy, with out him doing a ton of damage.

now how can u counter act that..? a spaz 12 or commando wont help u if ur lagging out because the enemy are using strikers with fmj.

auto matic fal= over powered. maby if they balence the performance charts out a bit, then that might happen. but knowing the cod series. the charts are going to lie to you, hands down.
