Nowww Im saying if Black Ops, has been created with RSA and the public key is used on the CD and decrypts the patch in which treyarch as encrypted with a private key. (which is what unknown is saing) then it is possible if we have the current SDK we would be able to make sense of how the public key is decrypting the patch. Thus making the patch editable.PM me if you want this is more info of if i should post a thread on it....
I see. I think there are some basic misunderstandings about what exactly you are trying to accomplish as well as the basic functioning of rsa encryption. First, this isn't about the package, but the fast file. The ff is generated by Treyarch and Sony plays no role in it. Second, the mark of a truly effective encryption algorithm is that knowing the algorithm in no way makes it easier to decrypt a message. Rsa falls into that category. Even if Treyarch used tools from Sony to generate the encryption, having those tools would provide no help in decoding the cypher text.
I suggest reading up a bit on asymmetric encryption so you will have a better understanding of the problem and the difficulty of the solution. It's a really very, very difficult problem (beyond the capabilities of anyone in this forum, no insult intended).
