I cba to check the files I'm just jumping in my two sense. This seems to all be backwards to me. I have never known the private key to the part that encrypts the data. This is a new for me. Usually it works by encrypting with the public key and then decrypting with the private. Or creating a key with the public which is used by the private key so that both sides can send and receive data in an encrypted session. Either way we are pretty much screwed without the private key because depending on the type of encryption it will take ages to encrypt. But who knows tbh i'm new to how console games work. Suppose it could be worse they could use a packet encryption like Rijndael.
I personally think this could be the end of hacking cod for a while. But who knows till we actually get this shit. 5 days and 5 hours for me.

Well i'm going down at midnight to get it because even without the mods its still a good game and with zombies back its not going to be the same shit over and over again. I got bored with mw2 after 2 months of playing it with world at war i can still play it and not be bored. Just the lack of players on world at war made me continue with mw2.

while back in cod5, i read an article about someone who did decrypt cod5 and he used a program which ive forgotten what its called which highly irritating which decryted the code so that you could mod it. could u use this for black ops?
the only problem is that they have probally changed the encryption so we can't but if someone could do some research into cod5 decrpting and maybe find a program which can mod cod5 because cod5 code could be similar to black ops. but we need to w8 and find out when we get the game.
