While I was banned, I bought the PS3 version of it for my brother as a "christmas gift" (which was my excuse to get it for PS3).
Now I can tell you from personal experience, that the PS3 version of black ops is an absolutely shitty experience compared to Xbox. The reason I stress the word compared is because I don't really enjoy black ops now, even on xbox, and this is how I'm comparing the two consoles.
For starters, the PS3 version has a small lag it seems like, even if you're host. this is a result from the low frame rate on PS3. Even lowering your display settings from 1080p to 720p and playing locale only doesn't even help. I personally think that is sad that you have to lower the quality to barely fix a problem that shouldn't be there in the first place.
Secondly, the graphics on the PS3 version seem to be dull compared to xbox. There are also certain features that are not available on the PS3 version, like the ability to bring up a person's playercard while in-game. This is something that I use frequently on Live and it doesn't have it on PS3.
I got to around level 14 on PS3 doing nothing wrong, then I get on and treyarch gives me a message saying how my online rank is corrupted and restored to the last useable rank or some bullshit like that, and it put me back to level 10. It was sort of like a kick in the nuts, and now I really see no point in playing B.O. on PS3 now.
I also think that Treyarch's involvement by banning modders/hackers is annoying. just the small things like setting somebody back 4 levels is a pointless thing for them to do and deters people from playing their game. I just wish they were less involved and only patched gamebreaking things such as god mode glitches or things that actually affect gameplay online, not things such as prestige hacks/gold gun/CT exploits.

I personally thought Black Ops was going to be great. With the fact that world at war was the best call of duty by far (My opinion). When i got it i was like wtf. I have it on ps3 the graphics are sh** it doesn't run smoothly at all! Its like they have took an old engine from like the 1st modern warfare and made it even worse. I kept persuading my self that things will get better when they patch it up and its playable needless to say that's not going to happen. I do like to see that they are doing something about "hackers"; even though i do mess around my self. I don't like the fact that they are more bothered about fixing fu**ing spit screen glitches, and banning all these people for "hacking", rather than fix the game its self to make it enjoyable and addictive like the previous call of duties. Call of duty has gone down since world at war, modern warfare 2 was decent and sort of enjoyable, but Black Ops who enjoys shooting someone getting hit markers them turning around while your shooting you and them killing you with the same gun! Makes sense? As i have stated to my clan i will probably only play Black Ops for the zombies from now on and then go back to MW2 to play SND. I don't see Black Ops lasting long at all to be honest, and i will end my rant on this:

P.s the Campaign is pretty epic though.

Anyway as of this new update its become way more obvious that the 360 version is better (i have it on ps3 and 360) I origonaly thought it was because my ps3 uses wireless internet and my 360 hat a wired connection but now that I cant get ONE GAME on my ps3... yeah...

Lol no, that's what you call a bitch. A snake is a member from treyarch that has an account on NGU so they can patch glitches as soon as they're released
