And now, after 3 Call of Duty games (4, 5 & 6) I found this tutorial so easy that I ROFL' first and didn't believe it.

Here are the steps (PS3):

1. Go to your system's settings and find "System information".
2. There's an ip-adress right there, write it up.
3. Go to your modem's/router's settings and find a setting where it says 'MZ' (DeMilitarizedZone) somewhere.
4. Input the IP you wrote-up.
5. Save settings ... TWICE.
6. Restart modem with current settings.
7. Restart PS3.
8. ????
9. PROFIT!

Note:
It didn't show TYPE 1 at first for me, but I played like 2 or 3 games and after those I was the host on nearly every game

Then I checked my NAT-type and it was 1 n.n

I don't bother explaining ie. how to get to your modem/router's settings ... find out on your own or something.

Type 2 to Type 1? So you went from Moderate to Strict? Lol dude no thanks, doing all that shit probably just made your connection slower.

It's just that TYPE 1 NAT is OPEN.

My NAT type is 2 and I still get open on all CoDs.

Type 3 is Open. At least for me it is. I have Type 3 and Open on all COD Games.

TYPE 1 is open IMO.

you can't be this stupid it has to do with your router i had a strict NAT type so i bought i better router hooked it up and every game since then has been open you can play around all you want with your system settings but when it comes down to it if your router blows your connection blows

2. Only reason you got it open with new router is because its settings are different than the old one's.

Did this a few days ago. Didn't change my Nat Type or anything. It just made it Open(Was Moderate). (I has Type 2)
