And now, after 3 Call of Duty games (4, 5 & 6) I found this tutorial so easy that I ROFL' first and didn't believe it.

Here are the steps (PS3):

1. Go to your system's settings and find "System information".
2. There's an ip-adress right there, write it up.
3. Go to your modem's/router's settings and find a setting where it says 'MZ' (DeMilitarizedZone) somewhere.
4. Input the IP you wrote-up.
5. Save settings ... TWICE.
6. Restart modem with current settings.
7. Restart PS3.
8. ????
9. PROFIT!

Note:
It didn't show TYPE 1 at first for me, but I played like 2 or 3 games and after those I was the host on nearly every game

Then I checked my NAT-type and it was 1 n.n

I don't bother explaining ie. how to get to your modem/router's settings ... find out on your own or something.

mine was moderate and when my brother brought his xbox here it made it open for some reason and now my nat is always open lol.

No, that's not how it works, I have a NAT Type 3 but I ALWAYS get Open.

If you'll read my post a few above yours, then you'll see how it actually works...

On My PS3 Thats What Mine Says. 2 Is Open, 3 Is Strict But Ok.

I repeat, types and statuses of NAT are ****ed up.
Lets just say that my tut open the nat for who has it moderate ... forget about types.
