(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was planning on buying the hardened edition of Black Ops so I could get the classic zombies map and share it with all my friends, and learned that Activision doesn't manufacture the Hardened and Prestige editions anymore. So basically, they are not releasing Classic Zombies into the Playstation Store / Live Marketplace, and you can't get it in stores either.

Now my only options are to A: Buy the no-longer manufactured Hardened Edition of ebay for $100+ B: Find someone willing to gameshare their PSN account to 4-5 of my friends or C: Steal someone's account

I'm not really fond of any of those options and I just want the maps. That does it, I'm emailing Activision.

Does anyone else find this unfair? Is Activision ever going to release the Classic Maps?

agree 100% with the original poster, why are half of you reacting like those of us that didnt buy the hardened or prestige editions did something terribly wrong and deserve to be shunned? dont you guys who actually did go out and purchase those editions want more people to play online with? makes no sense but either way, when mw3 is out and black ops is old news they will release it...activision milks its custy's for cash...ebay ps3 hardened selling for almost 300$ and these power sellers have an endless supply? something fishy there...and playing them on world at war just isnt the same after playing black ops, besides playing online i do alot of split screen and on the ps3... it just kinda sucks losing so much screen capture..

Sorry but you have failed to understand my point, and that is that why should the less wealthy but just as loyal call of duty fans be penalised because they are unable to afford the item at the time. I would have loved to of purchased the hardened edition but I didn't have the money so now I must not be able to enjoy the maps. That sir is unfair.

The Hardened Edition is a limited edition and the maps where exclusive to that edition along with the Prestige Edition. I don't have the maps but I know it's my fault I didn't buy the hardened edition. So don't complain it your own fault you didn't buy the hardened edition in the first place...

its called hardened and prestige edition for a reason. since u want to share with 5 buddies might as well pitch in and buy it together

it seems YOU dont get it . your able to pre order the game months in advance. you can even go to gamestop once a week and give them 5 dollars toward your game . you dont have to have the money at that point. you can build up to it. so if in 8 months your not able to pre order limited edition and pay it off. thats a personal problem not a problem for activision

Sorry but there are people who are unable to do so and it is activisions problem because if they were to release it as dlc then they would gain a substantial amount of extra cash. They are basically telling us that if you dont buy our overpriced hardened edition then you will be left out on the endless hours of entertainment gained from playing zombies with you buddies.
