The average joe isn't even going to have the proper network setup to do this. You can't packet sniff on a switched network without a special switch or by setting up a network bridge like he's done.

Anybody, with a Labtop, with ethernet and wireless card. can do this. His guide to network bridge is easy. If people can't figure out how to do that then they should stop trying.

yeah its the reason I didn't cover it in this video, only mentioned how I have mine set up as it will only get harder as we progress.

Trial and error my friend. Finding Values and what those values do exactly. Is going to be tricky. Hopefully they don't scan every packet that goes in and out. Meaning it would be useless.
