Well... Geohot, apeartly released the new hacks for the PS3 - as long as I know - he sad he could do ANY THING with the PS3. Well... What about if we are able to download the actual Infinity Ward Update into our Computer, and back into our Ps3? Well - thats when another idea hitted me! PS3 SHARING! Which is, the sharing of two Ps3s, witch you send ALL of the PS3 files into your new PS3. What about, if we are able to TRANSFER the DLC, or PATCH into our computer and edit hex, for: GodMode - Golden Desert, and a lot more... Well - I been working on it for couple of days, I called it "MadSharing". I have contact GeoHot, trhough his YouTube channel and I am waiting for response - when I get I will start gathering some COD4 hackers and so, and see if we are able to pull this one!

exactly IV_Tha killer, you are completely right. I have made a program that allows you to transfer data from PS3 to the computer now the only problem is is getting that data back to the PS3 I will see what i can do with the program and see if I can transfer it back

There is nothing I would love more then to say that this is a wicked idea and that we should do it but it just isn't possible at the moment.

We do not have the capability to make these kinds of edits work until custom firmwares come out.

Also the so called patch they call their "holy grail" is nothing more then a bunch of routines that get assigned into the games memory upon launch, fixing bugs etc. that lie within the original version on our game disc's.

Making a custom patch is useless unless you know the structure of the actual game data itself, otherwise you're just going to come up with errors.

If they can prove me wrong with FACTS then I will shut the **** up, otherwise I will be calling them out every chance I get because it's for the greater good of the community that people don't get sucked into dead end projects created by morons in an attempt to attract attention from people who don't know better.

Now if you want to argue that the PS3 does not have a lot of the same components as a regular home desktop pc, well I don't know if I have any further comments for you.

IV_THA_Killer i have managed to get the patch data back to the ps3 now the only problem is editing the patch data to make it so it can contain hacks and be able to work.

BTW that DA custom firmware you're referring to was mentioned two years ago, long before geohot's exploit was released.. I can tell you he's not doing **** all at the moment for the PS3 because I've known him from the PSP scene for years.

Yes a PS3 IS a computer, what do you think a PS3 is? It has a motherboard, cell processor, RAM, GPU, hard disc etc. also an operating system coded by sony... I think that might be a computer?
