Well... Geohot, apeartly released the new hacks for the PS3 - as long as I know - he sad he could do ANY THING with the PS3. Well... What about if we are able to download the actual Infinity Ward Update into our Computer, and back into our Ps3? Well - thats when another idea hitted me! PS3 SHARING! Which is, the sharing of two Ps3s, witch you send ALL of the PS3 files into your new PS3. What about, if we are able to TRANSFER the DLC, or PATCH into our computer and edit hex, for: GodMode - Golden Desert, and a lot more... Well - I been working on it for couple of days, I called it "MadSharing". I have contact GeoHot, trhough his YouTube channel and I am waiting for response - when I get I will start gathering some COD4 hackers and so, and see if we are able to pull this one!

I apreciate for all the good comments, and **** the haters (lol). Just for you all to know, we got something moving here. We, were able to take the patch out of the PS3 onto our PC, and back into our PS3. Now, we will start finding out some stuff about how the patch is coded and so. And, also - if we can get the patch out, and back into our PS3 we will be also able to install the DLC for free into our consoles with out the dowload limit.

And for all the people who is going to post any more ass comments, pleas don't - save it to your self. If you don't think it is possible, don't douch it around... I dint start this thread to be flammed - but to be helped. And who ever said there were no cfw for PS3, you are wrong. The PS3 did have custom firmware about a year after released - the cfw was made by Dark-Alex, but appertly Sony payed him to stop hacking their consoles.

Obviously the truth offends you because you're acting like a child.. wait aren't you 12? You seem to ignore what you don't want to hear.

I am so confident in what I try and explain to you that if somehow you manage to get unsigned code running and make it so we can "cheat" in MW2 in a way you've described on the PS3 I will personally send you $1000 of my own money no questions asked.

DA never even started anything usable with the PS3, I was part of his circle and I'm telling you there is or was no such thing.. Lets say hypothetically that it did exist, well it would be severely outdated and not compatible with the current firmware version or the hardware of the slim PS3 etc.

He was not paid off, he just focused on the PSP because that's where his main expertise is.. the PS3 and the PSP might look the same in regards to the menus and whatnot but they are totally different hardware wise and security wise.

Regardless of whether you're able to transfer data to and from your PS3 how do you expect to run unsigned code?

If you even changed one string in the patch it would no longer be valid and would be rejected.

Guys try the following to get the patch back onto the ps3

i remeber using the ps3 proxy you could change the download address so you could install games on your pc onto ps3. these games were psn games on your pc.

look up the tutorial on ps3-hacks.com you will know what i mean.

but anyway i was wondering you could download the patch then once its of the ps3 and on your pc to put it back on use the ps3-hacks.com tutorial. instead of doing it with a game do it with a patch.
