I tend to only hip fire whenever i get surprised by someone, when i know i cant knife because i dont have turbo knife perk 3 turned on..... so i will hip fire first. It works fine for me. but mostly i camp...so im always aiming down my sights.

also famas hip fire is wreck.....

According to Sgt Foley, we should aim down our sites. I agree with him.

I said Tar and no idea why you would want steady aim on the spas-12 or aa-12, me and a friend tested out spas-12 normal, fmj and with grip, and also with the aa-12 all with and without steady aim seperately of course and steady aim made absolutely no difference on the spas and next to nothing for the aa-12 and didn't increase range on any of them.

i must admit the only guns that are good for hip fire are smgs m4a1 and ak47. m4a1 is what i use when they are close i hip fire when mid range i hipfire into aim down sights and long range is 100% aim down sight. yes steady aim will help but the m4a1 is still great without it i must admit i wouldnt bother hipfiring at all on someone 50 yards away as hip firing isnt as effective as on waw :L all in all i use steady aim as it does make a big difference but i will stop using it once i unlock ninja

cod 5 was the bollocks for hipfire i used to go everygame without ever touching L1 just mp40 juggernaut extended mags and steady aim lol

mw2 hipfire is good, its so good that steady aim the perk is useless, its not as effective as in 5 tho cz u die alot faster

In COD4 i used to hip fire like crazy, but in MW2 most of the time im Aiming down the sight
