I said those guns have good hipfire, not that they need steady aim

i usually only hipfire when someone right in front of me which most of the time results in a commando knife

depends on gun, class, and map

i do both i start firing and then go to aiming down the sites and it works good cuz like people said above aiming down the sites and then shooting is a half a second before you can shoot, that can make a big difference
and i only use steady aim with akimbo's(cuz you can't aim down the sites) or shotguns(i really don't no why i juz alwayz do)
