Instead of looking in and around Modern Warfare 2. Why not take a look into the system itself and what all the PS3 Hacking teams have done in the last 3 Years.

That should easily get you on the right track.

With TheUnkn0wn's recent bit of advice, and going through several older threads I came across this quote from hunter:

Has anybody done this on firmware 3.30? I'm able to do it on 3.15 and 3.21 but on FW 3.30 i can't find the dummy data ANYWERE every sector is different including the first sectors unlike my other 2 ps3's the beggining sectors where all the same.

The reason why i want to know is because i have working modded game patches, and i want to be able to do this on my other ps3 i can go online with, but 3.30 just seems like they might have fixed this... All the data is just scattered though out the whole hdd every sector is different.

Then he later replied with:

I don't think it does, i found the dummy data then did everything else when it came time to copy the music file[/I][/U] back to the ext hdd you get a copy error or it copies everything but the data you want.

-----

Maybe there is an exploit or something within the music tab on the PS3 menu.

I don't know if this seems logic, or if it has been posted before. But it has been dwelling on my mind for quite a while, and I thought it was time to share my thoughts.

Remote play feature
Editing the BRD iso
Making custom FW...
Unkn0wn said to look past MW and look into the system maybe is not software but hardware

Yes there may be dedicated threads, yes you may find yourself superior to others with your special orange user name. But seriously, stop aiming for that +1 post count.

its not about back seat moding. its about its all bullshit. unknown and hunter keep giving bits of info that throws you off the right track and then you noobs keep coming onto ngu and opening these type of thread that get closed in 2-3 days because they are all bullshit. and i dont have a pretty orange name so bite me on that one and talking about plus 1 post look at your rep. you keep getting rep from other ducks just like you who keep relying on theories and rumors. now ima go to suggestion and suggested a sticky for idiotic theories so you guys can stop spamming ngu with your crap

because its all been tested. instead of telling dude to stop flammking why dont you tell the poster to stop posting theories which have been ****ing tested already and proven to not ****ing work

and if you all look closey only people responding or giving rep to dude are noobs on ngu. everyone had heard of this challenge lobby on ps3 ,they google it and ngu comes up. so they sign up and not ****ing knowing that this has been going on for 3-4 months already with nobody finding shit(because hunter and unknown keep fooling you guys). so now we get a diffrent thread with diffrent theory everyday and it gets old , month after month and even though most people dont flame it just comes out cuz people are fed the **** up with this bullshit and all you noobs

I'll put it plain in simple since the unkn0wn likes to be tricky hack the ps3 find accses to the media files change the hacked files to a type of music format using the hack to enable you to play music on any game there was that so hard?
