This has been confirmed by multiple sources now...It basically turns your ps3 into a debug unit so it will run unsigned software and also run games from the hdd instead of the disc.

It needs a bit of work but will eventually be the jtag for the ps3....

i wouldnt be surprised if Hunter/TheUnkn0wn got hold of one of these as they we're supposedly manufactured in japan a while back.

It totally makes sense though as he confirmed that PKG editing was correct, just we were stuck on resigning the file, but this allows you to install pkgs not signed. I think that must be it then, now we all we need is mass produced cheap copies of these on ebay from china ha as I'm not paying that much for one

i'm not sure that will happen anytime soon, the chip inside is not in standard USB's. Could be expensive, or could simply be an easy way to make a shit load of $$$, well they deserve it
