I know this will be probably the best thing I've ever purchased for my PS3.

Granted it doesn't become obsolete after the next FW update...

What I am hoping for is that this device allows the ability for homebrew. Then as people start making useful stuff for it (including a FW check bypass) everybody will just need to have FW 3.41 and they can do anything from there without ever having to update thier FW.

I have my second PS3 set up with FW 3.41 and I also have a Dled copy of FW 3.41 on my comp just in case. I will leave my second PS3 untouched and un-upgraded in hopes this thing will really take off. And if it does, I will have a PS3 with a compatible FW and I will be ready to go.

well if anyone here remembers i posted a thread in the normal threads a few days ago about me talking to hunters friend, well he said he had a ps3 jtag well not a jtag but i said it basically does what a jtag does and he said yes so maybe hunter was one of the creators of this dongle thing so he got one early?
