Does not look like any of the 5 USBs I have torn apart. Looks like a Xlinix Chip in the Jailbreak. I will look into it further. I can get the Xlinix chip here at with just have to figure out what is programmed into it.

Worse outcome would be sony patching this in a couple of weeks.. because how this is all working is sonys work, they can easily remove it :confused:

I think now somebody could make a proper psn update bypasser so it wouldn't be a problem and even custom firmware

I am almost positive Sony is going to patch this thing in the next update. This comment on ps3news.com pretty much guaranteed it for me.



This means that this device will be easily patched by Sony. Since all they have to do is figure out why it doesn't work on patches prior to 3.41, and they will have a fix for it.

Not worth the money unless somebody can some up with another easy way to avoid firmware updates while still being able to play online.

thats just because they programmed it to work on 3.41, if you read around you'll find it does work on lower firmwares but not all.

You did not find anything, this was put in your lap by someone else.

I already have the dongle, and ive tested everything, I asked hunter about it and he said you have to decrypt the ".self" and somehow patch it.. there is a thread on P V h a x . c o m that I posted about my test.. if you install a modded PKG file you will still run into the default_mp.xex which patches everything because its on a SIGNED game, if it was unsigned you wont be able to play it.

So there is no chance of doing this way..

However, Ihave found a method which will work on any version.. and its to do with using "dev_usb" and use an IMAGE as the pkg.. this is one of his methods. I cannot say no more, so I suggest people leave PJ Jailbreak out the picture.
