If anyone read my thread about ISO modding well, when I discovered details about the ISOs I came across the default_mp.xex in my 360 MW2 ISO. And Well here is a picture.

***In the above picture you will find the default_mp.xex file. Which on the PS3 is the .self***
The reason why most people can't run modded patches is because the default_mp acts as a secondary fail safe system. It
1) Checks to see if the patch hasn't been edited. Then runs it.
Or
2)It checks it if its an incorrect/modded patch it will give a syntax error.
Before anyone post anything please read other threads, and don't flame. And this is not a theory, since the .xex had to be patched/modded on the 360.

We are on the brink of getting these hacks. If we work hard enough we will eventually get it.

This is from Xbox-Scene and credits go to Provenance.
"This tool will patch your default_mp.xex to remove security checks, allowing you to play modifications of the multiplayer .ff files. This tool is written to work with the initial version of the title from the disk, and WILL NOT connect to Xbox Live nor is it meant to."
The above clarifies further more of what the default_mp does. Even though the file extension is xex it still applies to .self
***More Info***
I just discovered that the default_mp.self tells the EBOOT.BIN what to execute. Every game has a default.self and a default_mp.self. So basically the file is telling the EBOOT to give us a syntax error. If you find out more please post a reply.

Good luck xD... if you would have read all of my post you would realize I used this two files to compare them. I didn't inject anything. Just use logic, and don't think hard. Think simple... think "MP"

But stop talking like you "Have" made a lobby. Your last couple post sound like your trying to make yourself sound better than everyone. Might not ment that way but defently sound like that.
They also sound like your claiming you done it, when everyone knows you haven't cause you would have posted something saying "and proving of course" that you have.
And no matter how close you think you are, until you do it, you will "never" have hints that will help anyone cause as far as you/me/anyone knows your hints are no good cause you haven't done it.
This is not ment as a flame. Far from it. But, your post don't sound right man.

Like I said your clueless. I don't want to give a full on explanation... nor does it incline that I have done one, I say I "might" have one in 2-4 months. I can say I'm on the right track, but from here on out its trial and error... people are so used to status quo, as in being spoon fed and not told to work solo nor do it yourself. Its amazing how much dedication I have put forth, how much time I have worked. And at the moment, I just fell like leaving it all behind. You will literally lose your life if you are fully dedicated to this. I saw that with experience and as a "teacher". Nothing says everyone has to do this hack, people can and will eventually be invited to a lobby by people like hunter, theunknown or you might stumble into their lobbies you never know. That spill was just saying how this will ruin your life, you might get it you might not. Most people won't get it. For that I won't be posting much anymore nor will I release progress, as for this I need to work. I can't release progress along the way since if something fails I have to start from square one since the default_mp is only 1/4 of the task.
