There is no headers needed to change because PS3 .ff is ur base File and ur pasting PS3 .gsc inside. and Xbox .gsc are the same as PS3 .gsc

do you know if the Havoc Undead v6 mods will work if you do it right Smile

You talkin to me?
Can someone please tell me, whats the CMD input I need to put, for it to compress again, after I modify it?

Example:

packzip.exe -w 15 00000001.dat _missions.gsc

Example:

packzip -o (here you put in the offset to inject it to in form 0x00000000) -w -15 (input file) (output file)

I decompress _missions.gsc (0000001.dat) using this method, then modify it to make my own custom patch, then compress it using:

packzip.exe -w 15 0000001.dat _missions.gsc

Then I got the modified _missions.gsc, and then I copied all the HEX data from _missions.gsc to its original offset on the decompressed "patch_mp.ff", then I compressed "patch_mp.ff" using the same method, and got my modified "patch_mp.ff".

The bad thing is that it weights 2Kb's more than the original and it doesn't have a header and some other stuff.. What did I do wrong?

i would help you if i could. the farthest i have gotten is compiling the 00000003 into the 00000027. i cant seem to get the 00000027 into the patch_mp either.i have gotten the sizes to match but even if i dont edit anything the contents will be different.

Completely agree.

Though I will say I do appreciate what you have taught us. But, like juddylovespizza said..Repacking is the most important part.
