I am stuck on Step 3 on this part:
So once you have an FTP program installed, load up the "blackb0x" program from your PS3. You will see an IP address in mine is 192.168.2.7 your will be similar. Copy this into the "Host" box in your FTP program. Now in the Username put "FTPD12345" and for the password it can be anything at all. Then press connect. You will now see the folders on your PS3 open the "dev_hdd0" folder then inside there the "game" folder. In here is your games installed onto your system, Modern Warfare 2 is BLES00683 for my region, it will vary for yours so go get your case or disc of the game and see what you have on there on the side. Now you know the correct folder for your Call of Duty game open it then open the "USRDIR" folder. You will now see another "patch_mp.ff" drag your patch into here and overwrite it.

What is happening is that i can load up the Blackb0x and get my ip address, but then the tut says to "Copy this into the "Host" box in your FTP program." I do not know how to do this, and anything past this, can someone please help me?

Can you give me a link to the download please? And when I download it, should I put the file to my main usb stick, or the the ps3 folder, or.... (where should I put this file)

and why the hell are you doing that? ftp is sposed to go on your ps3. on your mac you use filezilla

by ftp do you mean blackb0x? because I put the ftp server on my ps3, then it gave me blackb0x. Then i launched blackb0x, then it gave me my ip and that's it.

Ok I have filezilla, know do i put my ip into "HOST" then click "quick connect"?

Lol mate now once you got filezilla run the client then go to file site manager and in where it says ip put the ip that blackbox gave you in and then press connect and done. o where it says host put the ip and where it says port put 21

put the ip that shows on blackbox and there. done. do whatever you wanna edit

I went to "file" then "site manage"r but it does not let me click anything except for: "my sites" "new sites" "new folder" "ok" or "cancel". The shaded out parts that dont let me click on them dont even have an "ip" section!
