I am stuck on Step 3 on this part:
So once you have an FTP program installed, load up the "blackb0x" program from your PS3. You will see an IP address in mine is 192.168.2.7 your will be similar. Copy this into the "Host" box in your FTP program. Now in the Username put "FTPD12345" and for the password it can be anything at all. Then press connect. You will now see the folders on your PS3 open the "dev_hdd0" folder then inside there the "game" folder. In here is your games installed onto your system, Modern Warfare 2 is BLES00683 for my region, it will vary for yours so go get your case or disc of the game and see what you have on there on the side. Now you know the correct folder for your Call of Duty game open it then open the "USRDIR" folder. You will now see another "patch_mp.ff" drag your patch into here and overwrite it.

What is happening is that i can load up the Blackb0x and get my ip address, but then the tut says to "Copy this into the "Host" box in your FTP program." I do not know how to do this, and anything past this, can someone please help me?

so I just put my ip into the host then leave everything else the same? What do I do after I do that?

Yeah then just leave everything else the same and hit "CONNECT" then it should connect to your ps3 files. Leave blackbox open while your on filezilla though editing the files.:hitman:

Ok I just did that and it gave me a lot of stuff on filezilla, blackb0x is still open, but not doing anything, what should I do now?

can you answer my last question please because I am stuck right here.

open the dev_hdd0 or whatever its called and find a tut on what you want to do , once your finished press x on your controller and it'll close blackb0x and filezilla should say connection closed by server . And Your Done.

what is a dev_hdd0? I don't know what you are talking about. oh and I closed blackb0x after filezilla gave me that files, but then I opened it back up.

Ok Mate once all the files are up dev hdd is the ps3 hardrive files this is where most thing you will wanna edit is happening are you doing this to run challenge lobbies?

yes I am doing this to host hacked lobbies on the ps3 on MW2. I want it to be a challenge lobby.

So do I go to dev_hdd0 or dev_hdd1 on filezilla to use the hack?

well since your newb to this, i guess i could spare couple minutes to help you 1 on 1 via Skype.

P.S if you ask me what is Skype and how to set it up, i won't assist you. lol
