    [B]1)[/B]MW2 1.13 Files
[B]2)[/B]Unself Program (Any Suggestions??)
[B]3)[/B]Your .GSCs From Your Desired Patch
[B]4)[/B]Default_mp.self (1.13)


Theory
(UPDATE BY ITheFallenI)

    [B]1)[/B] We will need to decrypt the default_mp.self located
inside of the 1.13 retail update
[B]2)[/B]Locate the Pre-Compiled .GSC files in the default_mp.self
[B]2)[/B]Uncompile those files, then edit them to your liking
[B]4)[/B]When done recompile the .GSCs back
[B]5)[/B]Re-Pack the default_mp.self file and replace it in hdd_0/game/30377/USDIR
[B]6)[/B]Start MW2 with no bypass on 1.13 using modded .GSCs

When Starting MW2_MP, the Edited/Recompiled GSC files
would overide your patch and use itself as the patch

...

Or if you had the same patch on that contained the same GSC files as the ones you recompiled
into the default_mp.self it would just use your patch, either way its the same


This is probably the easiest and possibly on way to defeat IW once again!

Thanks for the Groan, what you say is Bullsh*t, they haven't removed it, they have just deactivated it for the patch_mp.ff/patch.ff; if they would remove it, they have to pack every single rawfile (already compiled) into the .self but they just packed the content of the patch_mp into it and the on-disc .ff rawfiles are compiled like before. what I'm saying is not bullshit. That's a FACT coming from a well known xbox modder that's indescribably more experienced than you. If anything YOU'RE the bullshitter. Stop telling everyone lies as if you've gotten it to work. You probably don't even have the slightest clue on how to script PPC or ASM.

Also, did you not read my post? I said MP GSC compiler, now what in the **** would a patch.ff (SP) have to do with that? The common_mp.ff GSC rawfiles are all packed into the executable because they removed the MULTIPLAYER GSC compiler. Lrn2read.

"xbox modder" - Wait a minute, he must be a ps3 expert.
"PPC" means PowerPC.

If you change the content of any .ff on the disc (just add some 00000 then the game crashes), the game just loads it content! Try it and you'll see!

I've read it, just change the common_mp.ff (or any other mp .ff) header (or asset header) from Iffwu0100 to 123456789 and the game crashes, I've tested it while I was trying to get iso mods running.

If you replace one of the gsc's header it's the same (the game crashes), maybe they packed some .gsc's into the .self but not all mp .gsc's.
